Maybe there's a setting in the TV to "match content" So when you play the show/movie it'll turn on HDR and when you stop it'll kick back to SDR. See attached photos. I made sure that I am changing it to 2560x1440p in settings but the resolution still looks like garbage (it looks blurry). It doesn’t have to be this way! There are some things you can do to get a decent HDR picture. The grain is constantly wobbling around and it looks unnatural. This will force a refresh of all the color settings. You probably have brightness/contrast set too high. As a result, most people probably turn HDR on once, avert their eyes in horror, then never touch the feature again.
